Dr. Adrian Feuchtwanger trained as a German > English translator for 3 years before going freelance in 1999. In 2004 he obtained court interpreter certification (DPSI) from the Institute of Linguists in London and has since interpreted at numerous hearings and depositions in the US and UK. A native English speaker originally from the UK, he has a PhD in German literature from the University of Southern California and an undergraduate degree in German from Oxford. He stays abreast of developments in the translation industry and translation theory by attending events such as the American Translators Association conference and by producing scholarly articles on translation methods
